Our athletes give up so much of themselves to earn these banners, we as a community owe them the respect of hanging them in our gymnasium proudly!
Tried to get this accomplished a few years ago. Was put on hold until WaMac banners were hung; then stalled out.
It irritates me that a few people on the board refused to display the accomplishments of our student athletes! Enough said! !!
It's sad that this even needs petitioning! The plaque I recieved for winning State Cross Country currently sits on the floor behind a plant in a classroom...I worked hard to achieve that plaque and I would like to see it displayed better, along with all the other great accomplishments by CCA students.
A lot of hard work and determination brought those banners to the school, they should be proudly hung in the new gym! We should want to showcase the achievement of former and current students!
