WE, THE ALUMNI, CURRENT STUDENTS AND TAXPAYERS OF BUCKEYE CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL, OPPOSE THE DECISION MADE BY THE BUCKEYE CENTRAL SCHOOL BOARD AND/OR THE COMMITTEE FOR MEMORIAL POLICY, NOT TO DISPLAY THE FRAMED JERSEYS OF RHONDA ZEIGLER AND MICHAEL FIKE.THESE JERSEYS WERE ORIGINALLY DISPLAYED IN THE FORMER BUILDING BY THE GYM AND SHOULD BE PLACE IN THE AREA OUTSIDE OF THE GYM IN THE NEW BUILDING.
The school board continues to ignore our requests for a meeting regarding the jersey display. Post this link on Facebook and tag the school board members to demand an explanation for their refusal. Send an email to your representative today to let them know the community wants these memorials back in the gym area.

The momentum behind this effort is undeniable and shows how much this community values our history. Call the district office today to demand they restore these jerseys to their rightful place by the gym. Post this link to your social media feeds right now to keep the pressure on the board.

It feels so empty without them. They deserve to be displayed for everyone to see.

Ridiculous that this is even a debate. Those jerseys are part of Buckeye Central tradition.
