I support the application for CPC funding submitted by Milton Girls' Softball, Milton National Little League, and the Parks and Recreation Department. Their effort to convert the lighting at our Gile Road fields and courts to LED fixtures will make a big difference in these programs used by so many in our town.

Upgrading these long-outdated fixtures will improve the playing experience for all who use these fields and courts, and for the neighbors who may be exposed to this lighting in the evenings. Not only will it make the lighting more energy efficient and environmentally friendly, but it will also allow each of these programs to realize significant cost savings each year. With already limited budgets, these savings will enable money to be directed toward programming enhancements for all who participate in the many youth and town sports that utilize these fields and courts.
