3 Oak Lane. Stuck in my driveway every time it snows while the town plow drives right past the end of our street. Fix this.

14 Willow St. Its about time the town looked at this. Private roads pay plenty of taxes and get zero service in the winter.

12 Hemlock Rd. Tired of paying for private plowing on top of my property tax bill. This needs to pass.

9 Cedar Ct. Absolutely ridiculous that we are left to clear the ice ourselves.

To be fair and honest - The Little's Hill sub-division is a Planned Unit Development. When the developer appeared before the Georgetown Planning Board he agreed to "Conditions of Approval" for the development. These Conditions & Covenants & Easements are all recorded at the Southern Essex Registry of Deeds, in Salem, MA. The "Conditions of Approval" included language indicating the roadways within the development were to remain "Perpetually Private". The conditions also indicated that all road repairs & maintenance, as well as snow & ice removal, are the responsibility of the Little's Hill Condominium Homeowners Association. As there are 4 parcels of public land contained within the Little's Hill sub-development, the developer agreed to place a "recorded easement" for the town's residents to pass over the Little's Hill roadways for access to the public lands, one being a soccer field and 3 being Conservation land. When purchasing a home in Little's Hill all purchasers signed documents indication they were aware of the conditions, covenants and easements when signing the closing documents for the transaction. I order for the public to make an informed decision it is imperative they have all the facts regarding the Little's Hill development. ~ Doug Dawes, Realtor® and Georgetown Selectman.
