The response to this campaign shows just how much Father Thomas means to our parishioners. Take this momentum and call the diocese office today to demand they keep him at our pulpit.

Fr thomas has been a blessing in our parish. He has brought in the adoration of the blessed sacrament, something that has not been done since I have been here and that has been 30 plus years. He has brought back good traditions. Please consider keeping here in our parish.
As a member of this parish for more than 40 years, I appreciate that Father Thompson has restored financial stability to our parish so that Sacred Heart Church will be here for many years. He has filled the leadership void that has been missing at Sacred Heart.
Father Thomas is an outstanding priest! Sacred Heart needs him!
Father Tom is the real thing ... a Saint.
Fr. Tom has taken the steps to stabilize the finances of the Church in caring and careful way. An still he maintain his position as our Spiritual Leader.
We are in Spain now but will be home soon.
I felt very bad when I heard the announcement the Fr. Thompson was leaving. I have heard many rumors about what Fr. Thompson behavior has been with some parishioners. We have not experienced any negative interaction with Fr. Thompson personally. He has done a lot of good financially for the church. We are finally out of debt. Plus, we have a prospering Pre-School. Some need to be careful what we wish for. I have heard that one day one of the three catholic churches in the Point Loma/Ocean Beach area may be closing. We need to pray and heal from the negativity that has lead to Fr. Thompson's leaving.

Fr. Thomas should stay in our Parish. He is doing a very good job in the upkeep of our Parish, a truly disciple of Christ. Although we have moved to another location close to 3 other churches, we decided to stay at Sacred Heart of OB because of Fr. Thomas.
