As fellow students of Desoto East,we want fair and better rules and dress code .Its time for a change for us and future students of The Great Desoto East.For an example our lunches are short and unfair and dress code is very strict for us especially for 8th graders that are going to the high school with free dress.Our school staff should start focusing on our education instead of our dress code.

I have been hearing so many stories from my classmates about how much these rules distract us from actually learning. We are meeting soon to figure out how to present these concerns to the administration so they finally have to listen to us.

Seeing the hallways at Desoto East buzzing with talk about this petition gives me so much hope. It is clear that I am not the only one tired of these unfair rules holding us back from focusing on our actual schoolwork.

Yea agreed. Having free dress once or twice a year makes us students feel trapped in having to wear these uncomfortable/plain uniforms almost 98% of the school year.Also I've been hearing complaints from fellow students that for lunch when we have nachos they ask some of us to "'pay" for extra cheese.Hope all thks gets adjusted soon tbh.
First of all , dress code. Why are you worried about what we wearin' , your job is to teach us to be successful and give us our education . I didn't come to school to be ridiculed about how my shirt isn't tucked in or my jacket isn't the right colors. Second of all this food that you guys are serving isn't even right. We don't need dress code at all. Every time I talk to someone about East Middle school they always tell me that's a dirty school. Please take away dress code. I didn't come to school for all this extra
I feel like I don't want to come to school because it's getting boring and the dress code on Friday should be a free dress day because any other schools in desoto get to do it . The lunch should be longer cause we barley have time to eat and it's a lot of us in 8th grade .. We should have sock hops for the fun and to change up so things
Its not fair to be worried about what color jacket we wear. I understand that its in the school dress code, but why be so strict about it? We also need better food. I can make a prediction that you reuse food that was made days ago.
Y'all are too busy worried about our jackets when we have over 200 lockers going up and down the halls that we don't even use. The lunch food is horrible it's like jail food. Y'all treat us with no respect but you want us to show it if I fed you dog food and didn't give you any freedom or fun and had a comment on your every move y'all wouldn't wanna be there either. That's why East is the "bad" school because y'all never do anything fun for us so we make it fun for ourselves
we dont need no damn dress code cuz half of these hoes cant even dress and nunu wear other ppl shoes you dont what to see hoe she dress in public but catch me at the fair today
