White Station High School students feel a change needs to occur, a change in the uniform policy. We are one Memphis' finest high schools, but we aren't treated as such. We spend more time in the office for uniform violations than in the classroom preparing for exams and end of course tests. We are not asking to completely throw out the policy, but to simply update it. We will no longer stand to be punished for something as trivial as a non-collared shirt and denim pants. We will not be chastised due to our multicolored jackets and strappless sandals. We want a change; we deserve one. Be sure to notify your parents!!!

I was walking through the halls earlier and saw someone get pulled aside just because of their shoes which honestly feels like such a waste of time when we have actual finals coming up. It feels like the administration is focusing on all the wrong things while we are just trying to get through the semester without a pile of detentions for minor stuff.

We are crawling toward that one hundred mark and I really need everyone to send the link to a few friends right now because the administration is definitely looking at these numbers. My printer is acting up again which is just great for my stress levels but honestly I am just focused on getting this in front of the principal before the week ends.

People are in ISS and sometimes even OSS for dress code violations instead of in school. Some people don't have the time or money to get the proper attire, so the dress code is yet another obstacle keeping people in their situation from getting an education-which we have a right to.
As a parent of a child who attends ws: It's 2015, Mr.Mansfield. I know it seems far fetched to change the dress code policy, but is telling kids what they have to wear more important than getting an education?
I'm getting homeschooled from now on, but I went there the past school year, and I spent more time in the office then I did in the classroom learning just because I would wear a black sweater with silver lines. This needs to change

sometimes i just feel like wearing jogging pants to school cause I'm just not feeling it but no i get pushed to the side and get held in the office for a really long time FOR JUST JOGGING PANTS. and you know what? I missed a very important lesson FOR JUST JOGGING PANTS. Fix that
