Relocation of Springbank Rd Post Office to Staplehurst Road Costcutter
Final supporters
The Post Office (PO) Company closed down the Post Office at 83 Springbank Road, SE13 6SS, last week. This will be of great inconvenience to the local community and its businesses. Since then many locals have asked if we can introduce the service at the Costcutter on Staplehurst Road.
The PO are investigating the matter but any application would be significantly bolstered by community support. Please help us with this by signing the below.
For info, Google shows the closest Post Offices are actually quite far away:
· Lee Green, 161-163 Lee Rd.15 minute walk from Costcutter. Difficult to park on this road as it is a high street.
· Ardgowan Road,SE6 1UZ.30 minute walk fromCostcutter.
· 302 Lewisham High Street.15 minute walk from Costcutter.
We are in the process of redesigning the store and think this is a good opportunity to create a bigger and better store for our community. We hope to incorporate extra services, a greater product range and longer opening hours as a result of adding this service.

good idea. the local shops need this to stay busy anyway
YES PLEASE. We really need this back in the area as the current options are useless.
hope this happens because springbank road closure has been a nightmare for us elderly residents
please bring it back local. walking to lee green is a pain and i dont drive
it’s way too far to walk to lewisham just for a parcel. this would save me so much time
This would be a great addition to the area
