We the undersigned are in support of the Camp Alpha Project: Operation Rucks 4 Racks.

Camp Alpha Project is a Self Sacrificing Organization (SSO) – meaning we have no paid staff, volunteers only. We started as a few canopies and one tent and have grown to what you see today at 16th Ave and Hatcher in Phoenix. We have done this through the help of the community and the donations of people not only in Phoenix, but nationwide.

The Mission of Camp Alpha Project is to successfully engage the homeless, homeless veterans, and community; ensuring safety whilestrengthening life skills and faith, to achieve permanency with the help of our community resources and supporters.

We Support the work of Camp Alpha Project, And the Volunteers, and Community that have made it possible.

We Request that you see this for what it is, Community stepping up where it is needed to help those who need the help. Keep Camp Alpha Open, Active, and Helping our Homeless Veterans and Homeless.

Seeing this community unite behind our veterans reveals the depth of commitment people feel toward those who have served. This momentum confirms that our mission to provide stability and respect resonates far beyond the tents at our site.

If you can't provide comparable service which evidently you cannot, then let them stay open! And stop lying about ending veteran homelessnes in the City of Phoenix. We all know it is not true.

Our Veterans deserve nothing less that what has been created here. Our Veterans served our country and to find that so many are homeless and many without proper healthcare is disgraceful. Those trying to close this down should be ashamed of themselves, or at the very least propose a better solution!

These people in Camp Alpha Project are doing a wonderful job with our Vets and homeless. They are taking them of the street and helping in so many ways. Clothes a hot meal, so medical help and finding them a place to live. They are giving them their dignity back. And I like that.

Vets need this camp.. it's tremendous help for those vet struggling to find jobs. Some have part time jobs but no enough $ to support their family on. This camp need to remain open ..least we can do to give back to those who gave so much of themselves to for our country!

I totally support camp alpha and any other like it. Took a entire load of needed item to alpha last Saturday to show my support. No one has issue when these same men and women fought for our country - we need to fight for them.

I live in the neighborhood where this is set up. I see nothing wrong with it. I drive by it four times a day. It gives me comfort to see soemthing positive in all the negative that happens along Hatcher.
