We, the undersigned, are petitioning Cleveland University – Kansas City for the following:

• 1)End future mask mandate. The mandate at the university is not based in science nor have students, faculty and/or employees been given proper informed consent for the use of a medical device.
• 2)Assure, in writing, that there will be no vaccine mandate. In line with the principals of informed consent and bodily autonomy, we ask that the university make it clear that they will not imposed a vaccine mandate on their students, faculty, and employees.
• 3)Revise the Enrollment Form and Notice and Assumption of Risk to reflect who is accepting the risk of being in the building. This form has conflicting statements that has both the individual and the university assuming the same risk, and in light of the legal doctrine of contra proferentem, the language is not clear and thus, should be corrected.

We are ready and willing to open a conversation with the university over these topics. We have been met with silence by the administration when our legitimate concerns over the metrics that these decisions have been based on. We welcome open, honest conversation and debate.
