Final supporters
One fourth of the Bronx borough's population, approximately 368,247 people, is under the age of 18. These young people need a bright future. Part of giving them a bright future is providing them with a sound education. The goal of this petition is to garner support for another high performing academic option, one that is based on a proven model that has sent students to Bronx Science, Laguardia School for Arts, and so many other high performing high schools. We want the opportunity to continue doing the work we love and to provide more high quality academic options in our community for everyone.

As a teacher myself I am beyond impressed with the excellence (in all areas) that BCSE has provided. The strictness of a school is a trait to be desired. The genuine, warm welcomes are truly a bonus. Currently, my daughter is in the second grade and is eager and excited for her year ahead at BCSE. Simply put, it would be an excellent idea to multiply this opportunity for more children.
My daughter was wait listed twice. She attends a high performing charter school but this school would have been closer to our home . If another school will give her a chance of getting in, then you have my full support.
We need more Charter school for Bronx. BCSE doing very good in the community to build talent. I even don't send my daughter Mahjabin to Gifted and Talented program when she was selected for BCSE.
Despite my son not being selected to attend this school; I like the structure that this school environment and policies this school has in place for their students.
This is the best school for my family. If my girls could go to this school all the way until they finished high school, I would be the happiest mother in the world. I wish other families to be as fortunate as mine has been in this school. Next up BCSE High School ;)
Go BCSE.
I am in FULL Support of opening a second BCSE in our community. Its unfair that our kids have to suffer with substandard education.

I been trying to get my son into a Charter School, due to the lottery and sibling preference I have been unsuccessful. Please built more School so that my son may have the opportunity to get in.
