It is entirely innapropriate for teachers to be doing this. Yes it is an issue that phones are out but taking away phones from people who don't even use it and pay alot of money for is completely uncalled for. The fact that teahers are making a joke out of this and calling it the doom box that they take phones in is very childish and immature. No 13-14 year olds should have to call grown adults childish and immature.

Students need to have their phones available Incase of family emergencys if they aren't playing on them leave their phones alone

you know they have no reason to respect our wishes though I've been told teachers have been abusing this power

guys this phone thing is dumb. i wont give an old man my property when i didnt get on it at all.

the fact that they take our phones even when they aren't out should tell you enough. they are willing to hold up dismissal and get onto kids who aren't doing anything wrong. they are clearly doing this for their own joy.
