The scale of this response has forced the issue onto the agenda for the upcoming regional board review. I am currently finalizing a formal briefing document to present to the municipal representatives regarding the fragmentation of our dispatch system.

Wasteful to have all these tiny departments doing the same thing. Just get it done already.
The safety of our population and visitors must be the first priority. It is time our elected politicians embrace that concept.
Esquimalt Council definitely needs to be onside.
Merge 911 calls into 1 dispatch centre.
It's time to elect local councils that cooperate, not obfuscate
please stop the kaos
consolidation well managed can only create improved accountability and cost.

At the very least, there needs to be a single 9-1-1 Call Centre and Dispatch facility for the CRD
