Final supporters
We, the undersigned residents of Northport and East Northport, strongly OPPOSE the proposal to build a 7-Eleven at the corner of Waterside Avenue and 25A in Northport. This corner is already cause for traffic and safety concerns for our community, especially our middle school children and their families travelling to and from school each day. In addition, there are quality of life issues associated with convenience stores, for example, increased noise from deliveries and late-night patrons and the potential for loitering. We urge the Zoning Board of Appeals to listen to the community and reject any proposal to allow a 7-Eleven at this site.

The traffic study at the intersection is currently being reviewed by the zoning board. We are preparing our formal argument to ensure our safety concerns are officially on the record.

That intersection is a nightmare already. Adding a 7-11 is just asking for a serious accident with all the kids walking to school.
another convenience store we dont need. keep the noise down and keep the area safe for the kids.
Seriously? The traffic is bad enough. dont ruin our neighborhood.
NO 7-11! We dont need more traffic and trash in our neighborhood. Keep it residential please!
My daughter walks that route every single day and it scares me enough as it is. absolutely not.

way too much traffic at that spot during drop off times. look for somewhere else.
