We, the undersigned residents of Northport and East Northport, strongly OPPOSE the proposal to build a 7-Eleven at the corner of Waterside Avenue and 25A in Northport.  This corner is already cause for traffic and safety concerns for our community, especially our middle school children and their families travelling to and from school each day.  In addition, there are quality of life issues associated with convenience stores, for example, increased noise from deliveries and late-night patrons and the potential for loitering.  We urge the Zoning Board of Appeals to listen to the community and reject any proposal to allow a 7-Eleven at this site.
