We, the undersigned residents and homeowners, of the Woodstock area; do hereby object to the planned inclusion of a 7-11 Convenience store on the intersection of 52nd and Woodstock. The convenience needs of the community are well met through three, full service, 24hr. convenience stores, each within a walking distance in the West, East, and North directions, as well as the ASAP Mini Mart, the Shell Mart, and the Flavel Street Market, all within one mile to the South. The community is further served by a 24hr. Safeway Supermarket located within six blocks of the proposed site.
The inclusion of a convenience store is not commensurate with the development of the neighborhood as safe, family friendly, and a destination location. Woodstock residents have fought to curtail crime, and create an invested and proactive community. Convenience stores are known attractors to crime, drug use, loitering, and transients. The inclusion of this store will drive down property values, attract an unwanted criminal element, and is neither necessary, nor wanted in the community.
im still busy emailing the planning office back and forth regarding the site plan. the silence from the corporate side is frustrating but we are keeping the pressure on them anyway.

im honestly blown away by how quickly the neighborhood has come together on this. it feels like everyone is on the same page about keeping our streets safe and that energy is absolutely incredible to see.

NO 7-11!! We have worked way too hard to clean up this area to let it go downhill now.

Not needed. Just look at the other shops within a mile. Hard pass.

Keep Woodstock local. We dont need a giant chain store bringing more loitering and trash into our neighborhood.

Too many stores as it is. Property values will tank if this happens.
