We, the undersigned homeowners and residents of 117 S. Doheny Drive, wish to express our strong opposition to the proposed project at 401 North Oakhurst Drive. As residents of this neighborhood, we have several concerns regarding this development:
1. Scale and Height: The proposed 11-story building is excessive for the surrounding area. It would significantly alter the character of our neighborhood, which primarily consists of low-rise structures.
2. Density and Traffic: The project’s 25 homes with only 14 parking spaces are inadequate. Increased density without proper parking provisions will exacerbate traffic congestion and strain our already limited street parking.
3. Aesthetics: The proposed building’s height and design do not harmonize with the existing architectural context. It lacks compatibility with the surrounding residential properties.
4. Community Impact: The effects of this development on our quality of life, including noise, privacy, and sunlight access, have not been thoroughly considered.
We respectfully request that the City of Beverly Hills carefully evaluate the impact of this project on our neighborhood and consider alternative solutions that align with the existing character and needs of the community.

I strongly suggest that the BH Planning Commission members consider the impact of this overscale project and require a reduction in height and capacity along with sufficient on-site parking to accommodate all potential residents.
City of Beverly Hills needs some quiet and order which this project is not helping it.
Please way too tall for this neighborhood. Plus not enough parking for tenants

There has been too much construction in the area and little to no peace for existing residents. Please don't build this!
