We, the residents of Greenland Place are very fortunate to live in a beautiful brand new complex, providing us with excellent onsite amenities and a lovely community. Although some people residing in the complex are renting, there are residents who are permanently living here and pay a yearly service charge. As you are aware this service charge contributes to building maintenance and amenities but should also be inclusive of 24/7 security cameras to help protect our area.
As a result of recent events, the community of Greenland place feel that our complex should have high security installed on the premises. This is a brand new complex which has unfortunately attracted thieves from neighbouring areas as there was an attempted burglary at the local salon. I personally spoke with the owner of the salon and they mentioned that they were unable to identify the thief as there is no CCTV on the street, this was incredibly worrying to hear. A Harley Davidson motorbike was stolen from a 'secure' parking area in the complex and several bikes on the premises have also been stolen. This is of great concern to us and we do not feel enough is being done by BRAM to ensure this does not continue to happen. We must put a stop to this and in order to deter thieves and protect our environment, the level of security in the area must be increased imminently.
As a result, we have decided to work together to help make this community a more safe and secure place and so we urge you to install 24/7 security cameras within Greenland Place to help ensure that our community and streets are protected.

I have spent this week walking the perimeter of our buildings and mapping out the dark corners where those thieves keep slipping through. BRAM is still not responding to our emails but your stories about the stolen bikes and the break-ins at the salon prove that this is not just an isolated problem. We deserve to feel safe in our own homes and I will continue pushing until they install the cameras we pay for.

Seeing this kind of momentum behind our call for cameras brings me so much relief after months of worrying about my bike and the safety of my neighbors. It proves that we are no longer willing to accept these break-ins as a normal part of living here.

I think it's appalling that some of the magnetic doors don't work and that the are there for show. You spend a massive amount of money and security should be included in the cost
With the amount of recent issues regarding safety and security in our development, I think it's imperative that Barratt install these cameras. They are responsible for the security of the development, and we pay a hefty service charge for this, but unfortunately I don't believe they are doing enough to safeguard our premises or property.
Resident of Nyland Court. CCTVs are a minimum requirement to help protect property of residents here, and discourage theft and vandalism in the area.
I was very upset as I had my bike stolen from the Chantrelle Court bike shed. Even though CCTV was on site it wasn't placed to be able to film the thieves actually removing the bikes, so therefore completely ineffective
We have it in entrance and parking areas only. Concierge themselves have said that it would be useful to have on the streets as it would "help monitor things." There is absolutely no presence of CCTV on the streets.

As a Copenhagen Court resident, I think we should get top security for the top money we pay into this development. I want to feel completely safe in my own home - not just a bit safe.
