I hate to say this but petitions to get residents back on campusmight not change the parking plan. It took months to make and was reviewed by faculty and student leaders. I totally understandthe frustration ofthe student body. A bright side is more resident spots were added with this plan.The fact of the matter is that commuters use their car more often than residents and there are more commuters than residents; majority wins in this case. We should petition for a 24-hour shuttle to the lot and decreased parking pass costs.
