Due to special circumstances, we request a waiver for 22nd Street Station Cafe to be able to put two portable signs back up. The ordinance does not currently allow for the cafe's two portable signs to be placed on Pacific Avenue, resulting in a significant loss of revenue for the business. Other businesses are not nearly as effected by this ordinance because of their location on the main road going through town. The current and original location of the cafe has historical significance, and moving it would be a great loss to the community and our local heritage. Because of the historical significance of the site and the location being off of Pacific Avenue, we ask a waiver be granted for 22nd Street Station Cafe.
