The weight of repeating this cycle every few years is heavy but the family remains constant in their resolve. I am spending my time preparing the formal packets for the board and ensuring that no detail is overlooked despite the exhaustion that comes with reliving this tragedy.

This is my cousin whom I loved dearly. He always carved special time for me when I came to visit. He made those times and memories so special. Gray took a good person away who cared about everyone. Gray represents evil and greed. No mercy for Gray.
Deputy Janey DID NOT receive mercy! He was trying to protect the property of another and this criminal executed him in cold blood. Gray deserves to spend the rest of his natural born life in prison!
I am a Putnam County Deputy Sheriff and I will sign this petition as long as I'm able. I would like to cuss Robert Gray, but that would be unprofessional. The world lost a good man and Robert Gray should never be free!
This man was my Godfather. I loved him very much and looked forward to his daily visits to my family, when her would play with me and handcuff me to something. He would tease me all the time. I will never forget the morning he was killed, I was so young but I knew I would never see my hero again.
Keep him in jail. He is a murderer and an arsonist! He was desperate enough to burn houses for money once why let him free to dodo again and another innocent life be lost. He won't be able to get a job he will go back to what he knows best. Arson and murder.

But gee look at the bright side you will have somewhere to go visit for the next 3 years at least. Looks like your murderer brother will eat at taxpayer expense at least for 3 more years. Bet that was a tough pill to swallow today wasn't it?? We the taxpayer may have to feed and house him the rest of his life but ya know it's well worth it.DENIED DENIED DENIED!!!!!
he took the life of another human being. He should not ever get out of prison and have the chance to murder anyone else. John Janey's family will never be with him again. They continue to suffer their loss. John Janey was a good person. He was a police officer that tried to help take care of our community.

This was my uncle, my hero. I miss him every single day. I promised my grandmother before her passing, that I would fight with everything in me to keep Gray behind bars. I am holding true to that promise!! No mercy for John...NO MERCY FOR GRAY!!
