Jim Gray how ya like us now??? Looks like the Parole Board believed what you call family folklore. Wow kinda makes you look so not informed. But gee look at the bright side you will have somewhere to go visit for the next 3 years at least. Looks like your murderer brother will eat at taxpayer expense at least for 3 more years. Bet that was a tough pill to swallow today wasn't it?? We the taxpayer may have to feed and house him the rest of his life but ya know it's well worth it.DENIED DENIED DENIED!!!!!

he took the life of another human being. He should not ever get out of prison and have the chance to murder anyone else. John Janey's family will never be with him again. They continue to suffer their loss. John Janey was a good person. He was a police officer that tried to help take care of our community.

He was killed during the commission of a felony. Regardless of the order to engage or not engage, it happened. And he was killed, the final shot as he laid dead or dying through the head. I know he is your brother, but my god, what do you want? He is a cold blooded murderer. What would be your argument if the roles were reversed?

I am retired WV Deputy Sheriff. I remember John and this crime. Gray got his break because WV does not have a death penalty, therefor he deserves to stay where he is for life!

If Robert Gray was so innocent, why was he in WV pouring gasoline around a house to torch? He should have stayed home that night and John might still be alive. Robert Gray was trespassing not John. They say John was not on duty - well Law Enforcement is ALWAYS on duty. They deal with the scum of the earth and yet they are degraded by so many.

Killing those who serve our society is unacceptable and doesn't deserve consideration for parole. This was heinous and I humane to Officer Janey.
