Forest actually did it and got the award which is just fantastic news. I am sitting here staring at my computer screen feeling kind of stunned that this all worked out but honestly he really deserves the recognition for everything he puts into training. I might need a nap now …

I honestly never imagined this would take off like it has and it is really wild to see how many people want Forest recognized for his work. It makes me think back to the first few emails I sent out when I thought maybe only a handful of people would care but clearly I was wrong about that.

Forest is the best instructor around. He knows his stuff and keeps us all engaged during training. Well deserved.
THE GUY IS A LEGEND IN THE FIRE SERVICE. Nobody deserves this award more than him.
Forest makes training actually worth showing up for. Top notch guy.
Great choice. Hope he wins it.
Need more instructors with his passion. He has taught me so much about safety and tactics.
