The board officially approved our plans for the space at 199 Bowery. I am incredibly relieved that we can finally get to work and bring these jobs to our neighborhood. Thank you for your support throughout this process.

EMM Group is appearing before Community Board 3 on Monday for a new venue that will be located at 199 Bowery @ Spring Street.
The space is roughly 20,000 sq. feet and will house a bakery, a tapas lounge, and a restaurant with Latin/Asian flavors. EMM Group is looking to add a venue that will be a responsible neighbor, bring great quality food, and add an additional 200 jobs to a thriving area of Manhattan.

I have been spending my nights talking to neighbors who are worried about how this massive venue will change our block. We are preparing our specific concerns for the upcoming meeting to ensure the people who live here are actually heard by the board.

the neighborhood is growing so fast, this would be a great addition for dinner and drinks. hope it gets approved.
We definitely need more jobs in the neighborhood. Bowery is changing fast so let’s get some good food options in here. Hope this happens.
200 jobs is huge for the area. Would love to see a nice bakery right on that corner.
The traffic is already crazy there. Do we really need more noise and drinking? No thanks.

Finally something interesting coming to the Bowery! Tired of the empty spots. Bring it on.
