The Park District is prioritizing performance stages and plazas over the needs of our local pet owners. I am currently reaching out to local representatives to demand they reconsider the current site plan. Text three friends right now and tell them to sign this if they want to keep the dog friendly area in this project.

We need this space. Bringing my dog to the park is the only way he gets exercise.
WAY too much concrete in the plans. Give us the green space for the dogs!
My dog has nowhere to go. Stop prioritizing stages nobody asked for and help the pet owners in this neighborhood.
The south loop is way too crowded for dogs. My pup needs room to actually run instead of just sitting on a concrete pad.
Please fix this plan. The dog area is way too small as it is.

Ridiculous that they cut the dog area for a stage. Nobody is going to use that stage, but we use the dog park every single day.
