We, the residents of Mocha Residence, are calling for the replacement or reassignment of our current residence caretaker due to ongoing concerns about his conduct, responsiveness and impact on the residence environment.

Students have repeatedly raised concerns about:

•  Poor response to maintenance issues and requests for assistance. 
•  Dismissive, aggressive or unapproachable interactions with residents. 
•  Failure to adequately address student concerns. 
•  Conduct that has negatively affected student morale and the atmosphere of the residence. 
•  Concerns about alcohol being consumed in the presence of students. 
•  Removal of pool equipment, including pool balls, limiting students' access to recreational facilities. 

These concerns are shared by multiple residents and are not based on a single disagreement.

We respectfully request that Residence Management investigate these concerns and take appropriate action, preferably by replacing or reassigning the current caretaker to another residence.

Our goal is not to have anyone unfairly punished or dismissed, but to ensure that Mocha Residence has a professional, supportive and responsive caretaker who contributes positively to student welfare and residence life.

We ask Residence Management to listen to the residents and take meaningful action.
