We, the undersigned owners and tenants at Waterside North on Coquina Key, request that remote video and audio access, such as Zoom, be restored and maintained for all public HOA meetings.
Many owners in our condominium community are part-time residents. This includes landlords, seasonal residents, and non-residents who actively work in other parts of the country. Their distance from the property does not make their participation less important. They still have a stake in the decisions being made, and they still deserve a fair chance to stay informed and be represented.
For many of us, the issue is not effort. It is access. When meetings are held without a remote option, people who cannot be physically present are left out of discussions that affect their homes, their responsibilities, and their community. That creates an unnecessary barrier for owners and tenants who want to take part in a respectful and informed way.
Providing remote access is a simple and practical way to include more members of the community. It helps ensure that public HOA meetings are open, transparent, and available to everyone who needs to attend, whether in person or from a distance.
We respectfully ask that remote video and audio access through Zoom, or a similar service, be restored and kept in place for all public HOA meetings at Waterside North on Coquina Key.

My principle residence is not at Waterside but love staying informed in real time
We are not on site for the majority of the board meeting and would like to have updates real time and appreciate being included on the meetings to be a part of the community we belong to
As a newer owner that comes in the winter months as well as sporadic, I was able to listen via zoom at the meetings. Now, I will only receive minutes that do not capture the entire discussion. Please restore remote ability to attend meetings as previously provided. Thank you.
With absentee, traveling, and rental owners, folks not always on site for meetings should have access to board meetings to remain informed whether on the .meeting day or afterward by recording
All residents should have full access to meetings to discuss and be aware of changes. Transparency is key for all homeowners.
I’m a Snow bird
I don’t live in state so I can only attend via zoom. I have attended other zoom meetings and found the info shared online beneficial. I’m not sure why this was discontinued but it affects a good number of off site owners.
