Funding request for Design Method’s field visit
Requesting financial support to cover the expenses incurred during the Design Methods field visit, including travel and other necessary fieldwork-related costs. We students are going a bit broke so the 2026 collectively requests funds from the university

The field visit is becoming quite expensive for us, as the location is almost an hour away and costs around ₹400–₹500 one way. Since we have to do this repeatedly every week for thr assignment, the total travel expense becomes a significant burden.
Travelling from campus to our destination costs us a minimum of 250 per auto if we multiply that by two for the amount of ppl (3 in one auto 2 in another) and then multiply by the returning cost it becomes a lot to bear per weak. Since our destination is located in the interiors, local train isnt a feasible option for us.
Losing too much money on transport to and from field visit location.
pocket money gone...late night hungry...eating also outside...again pocket money gone
no money, BITS takes all my money, making me broke
It gets very expensive to travel and manage almost every week

our location is 17-20 kms away, and it costs a lot to go and come back. we have to go every week, its not feasible. if the visits are mandatory, the least that could be done is to fund it. local train is not always viable due to peak hour clashes, safety concerns etc.
