Petition to Keep the TradingView Public Chat Rooms Open
We, the undersigned members of the TradingView community, respectfully urge TradingView to keep the public chat rooms open and available to all users.
Why the public chats matter to us:
The public chat rooms have long been a core part of what makes TradingView more than just a charting platform. They provide real value that we do not want to lose:
- Real-time community. Traders share ideas, reactions, and market sentiment as events unfold — something no static feed can replicate.
- Learning and mentorship. Newer traders learn from experienced ones by watching discussion happen live, asking questions, and getting answers.
- Market sentiment. The rooms offer an unfiltered pulse of how the community is reading a symbol or the broader market in the moment.
- Accessibility. The chats are open to everyone, giving traders of all experience levels and account tiers a place to participate.
- Connection. For many of us, the chat community is a big reason we chose TradingView and continue to subscribe.
Our request:
We ask that TradingView commit to keeping the public chat rooms open and accessible. If moderation, spam, or abuse are concerns, we encourage TradingView to invest in better moderation tools and community management rather than removing the chats entirely. We would welcome the opportunity to work with TradingView on constructive solutions.
The public chats are a community we've helped build. Please don't close it.

Public chat is a core feature of the platform which is Community. Community is what made Tradingview what it is today, the rest charts and such can be obtained elsewhere. As a new comer the only thing that got me into trading is the community and the lessons you learn while experiencing the market together. For me they are taking the reason I subscribed to this platform.
