We buy bottled water since we moved here. I don’t even allow my dogs to drink this water!

My Daughter, Grandchildren & Great Grandchild, need clean drinking water, safe drinking water. And many can take on the burden the local township should supply bottle water for free as per family size needs. Never the less you need to shower or bath in water the water which is unsafe also.

I am tired of the water nonsense too. Enough is enough. We never know if it's gonna be pink brown or clear. The smell of chlorine all the time is horrible. Plus they wanna raise the water raise, we can't drink the water cook with the water why should we have to pay for it. Ya pay the water bill then use your food stamps to buy drinkable water. We need help! I have a brand new grandbaby coming in December, we can't give her this water.

I have children in my home, a newborn grandson, two aquariums, a dog, two cats, and houseplants — and I’m being forced to spend extra money just to get clean, safe water. Calls have already been made to the American Red Cross, 211, the EPA, the Department of Health, and Schuylkill County Emergency Management, and we still have NO answers and NO support. This is unacceptable. Our families deserve accountability, transparency, and safe water NOW.

Why are we paying for water that we can’t drink? Only to buy water that we can. Things are tough enough.

I live on Race Street in Ashland, and like many of my neighbors, I am tired of being left in the dark. We have been under a boil-water advisory for far too long while residents continue to see brown, yellow, and other discolored water coming from their faucets. People are spending their own money on bottled water and wondering when this nightmare will end. The cancellation of a public meeting because council members failed to appear only added to the frustration. We deserve leadership, transpare

Tired of never being able to use the water, laundry always ruined, have to buy drinking water not only for human consumption but also for my dog. Even when they say it is safe to drink I don't use it as it smells either of chemicals or just plain stinks. Wonder what damage is being done to our bodies when we are forced to bath in it. And still the bills keep going up and have to be paid. No credit to help with buying safe water. Something needs to be done.

How can this go on for so long? I have pets that deserve clean water. I also work in the medical field & cannot even go to work because we don't have clean water for our patients!

Something has to be done. This is going on for years. I got a water cooler 4 years ago because I never drink the water even when they say it safe to drink, I dont even give it to my cats. It just keeps getting worse as time goes on.

Why wouldn’t this be important to anyone who lives in the borough of Ashland.

I can't believe this can go on for weeks or months according to Ashland. Something needs to be done. Children, elderly, pets, and families are in need for clean water. Families are paying for water monthly and can't even use the water. They all should get credits on there accounts for when this all started. Why can't you get grants from the State to start and a way to connect to Pennsylvania American Water Co. Winter is coming and pipes will be freezing and families be cold.

Ashland water has had problems for years. Why is nothing ever been done for the residents of Ashland. They cant even drink, cook, or take a bath with the water for weeks or months and winter is coming. Peoples pipes will freeze, families will be cold, and not even touching in on the cost of going somewhere to take a bath, buy drinking water and cooking water, the cost is so high, how are families going to afford this especially with the high cost of oil, gas, diesel, food, electric, etc.

Ashland has been dealing with water problems for year and nothing has been done. You need to change all the residents to Pennsylvania American Water Company.

Keep raising the price to cover all the band-aid fixes, and a burough council that does NOTHING to help the residents of town! We deserve clean water!!!

Pretty sad that this has been happening for years with water problems in Ashland. They should look into grants and partner up with Pennsylvania American Water Company. Fix this for them please.
