We call on decision-makers to reject any development that would bring drive-through fast food restaurants to the Upper Blue Mountains, including the proposal affecting the Wentworth Falls Bowling Club. This is a place known for its natural beauty, quiet village character, and the way people live, walk, meet, and spend time together. Drive-through fast food is a poor fit here.

A development like this would bring more traffic, more noise, more litter, and more pressure on already busy local roads. It would change the feel of Wentworth Falls and set a bad example for the wider Upper Blue Mountains. People come here for open space, fresh air, and a community that still feels human and local. We should not trade that away for a type of business that encourages cars to keep moving and leaves little in return for the neighbourhood.
