Decision Makers: Hong Kong Police Force

We, the backers and supporters of a supposedly innovative tech project, call on the Hong Kong Police Force and relevant local authorities to investigate the Keebmon crowdfunding case on Kickstarter.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/332313376/keebmon-powerful-core-touch-screen-mechanical-keyboard/

Keebmon is a Kickstarter project backed by more than 1,000 supporters, garnering over HKD 6 million funds. Since its launch, the project failed to deliver the promised product, unilaterally changed refund terms after collecting funds, and gave inconsistent explanations about its payment and production status. Since the last update on May 29, 2026, the project has gone silent and stopped responding to communications.

Payment records and other information suggest that backer payments were collected by a Hong Kong-registered business (NOVAMELD LIMITED). Backers have also reported that their banks rejected chargeback requests after Keebmon submitted false proof of delivery, when the product was never manufacturured.

We ask the police to investigation the case involving a Hong Kong-registered business entity and Hong Kong residents behind the campaign against their false statements, misleading conduct, forged documents, and improper handling of funds, and determine whether further legal action is warranted.

We therefore request that the Hong Kong Police:
• Formally review the Keebmon case and its affiliated business entity and director (NOVAMELD LIMITED & Yi Fui Chan)
• Examine the relationship between the project creator, the receiving entity, and the actual flow of funds.
• Review any delivery or shipping documents submitted to banks or payment providers.
• Provide affected backers with a clear route for submitting evidence.

This petition is created by affected backers and supporters who want a fair and transparent review of the case. We believe the number of affected people and the amount involved justify a proper investigation.

We repeat: The purpose of this petition is not to pronounce guilt, but to request a proper review of a case involving a large number of affected backers and significant funds.

I just can't afford to take a loss like this. I'm retired on a very small pension.

I backed this project and would like to recover my money. The creator has stopped communicating, and the situation appears to be a possible scam. I support an investigation to clarify what happened.

Stop The continuing flow of scam products and disgusting behavior from disreputable people. Bring those who've lost their money justice.

People may have been scammed by this, and they deserve a proper commensurate for the money they used to pledge for this campaign.
