Increase Anthony Middle School Passing Time

Anthony Middle School currently has a three minute passing time, this isn’t enough.
We want the school to increase passing time to 4 minutes, as well as intoduce less harsh punishment for being tardy, if a person is absent, then make up time makes sense, but a student shouldn’t have to stay late or come on Saturday just because they were a few minutes late, especially with such short amounts of passing time.
We want:
4 minutes of passing time.
Less severe punishment for tardiness

I totally agree bro. I was late on the first day because one of my classes was four floors apart from the other. I definitely think the tardy rule is nessacary, but also shortening the passing time is just cruel.
A 4 minute passing time within that building was utterly absurd. Reducing it to 3 minutes is ludicrous to the point that I genuinely struggled to believe that my child wasn’t pulling my leg when I heard that it had been reduced even further this year. Combined with the stress of tardiness penalties, I fail to see how this solution to the problem that it’s intended to solve isn’t unacceptably harmful to the students.

This is important for me because there are 800 plus students at Anthony all trying to get to their class in a limited time and when they are all walking through the halls it gets chaotic so for many it’s hard to het to class in 3 minutes on top of that if you need to go to your locker, go to the bathroom, get water that takes up even more time causing a tardy, but if you get 2 tardies they call your parents so it’s basically for us lose or lose while hey get to stay in their classroom with no st

because its really stressful to have 3 min and the tardy policy is way more strict
They aren't gonna give us passing time, but they can give us a one, maybe two minute grace period where we aren't marked tardy. it's frankly awful that we are forced to sprint up three floors when the schedules are already flawed, and adding a new, harsher tardy rule is just insane and I refuse to accept it. So, what I propose is if students are late by less than two minutes, they should not be marked tardy. This avoids cutting advisory and still means that teachers get the prep time they need.

I belive the passing time is too short and my ELA class is all the way across the school from my gym class. I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS PASSING TIME
