we have sent out a form asking about smartpass and here are the stats:
88% of people have held the urge to use the bathroom because of smartpass. 
78% of people feel stressed with only 5 minutes to go.
63% of women feel embarrassed or have struggled with smart pass when on their menstrual cycle.
60% of people have struggled getting there and back from portables in 5 minutes.
71% of people have never used the pass to be on their phones, meet up with friends, or skip class
and here is the thing not one person has said smartpass is stopping kids from skipping.
YET WE HAVE ONLY HAVE 5 MINUTES.
"It's stressful to think about our limited time and if we exceed it we get a tracker sent to us" 
"Just emphasizing on the menstrual issues, it causes a lot of issues and I have bled through many times this school year because I was anxious to ask to go."
"I don't think that it stops kid from breaking rules, i think it just rushes them or makes them feel like its more of a challenge adding a game element. that's my thought's on the rule breaking. just wanted you to know that."
"It’s annoying when I actually have to use the bathroom but I get why it may be helpful. I think students shouldn’t be limited to use something as important as using the bathroom. Emergencies happen and a student shouldn’t be punished for something they can’t control."
"It is stupid, and makes me and other students feel imprisoned, and how teachers don't trust us."
"I think it is DISGUSTING and perverted to be tracking when kids use the bathroom. If you want more protection, just have hall monitors and teachers that check in the bathrooms for sluffers/vandalizers. There is no need for us to have digital records that track when and how long we are in the bathroom." 
YET WE ONLY HAVE 5 MINUTES.
and these were just a couple of quotes not even all of them
all we simply want its not even smartpass gone but just at least maybe just 3 minutes more.
