They aren't gonna give us passing time, but they can give us a one, maybe two minute grace period where we aren't marked tardy. it's frankly awful that we are forced to sprint up three floors when the schedules are already flawed, and adding a new, harsher tardy rule is just insane and I refuse to accept it. So, what I propose is if students are late by less than two minutes, they should not be marked tardy. This avoids cutting advisory and still means that teachers get the prep time they need.

its so much harder to get were you need to be because everyone is in such a rush because e of the passing time and the new tardy rule. also is very hard because the stair cases are always packed af and this whole punishment thing is stupid because we cant get to where we need to be in time because of the passing time. this whole thing is stupid and should be changed all of these new rules should be changed.

3 minutes is ridiculous and i strongly believe you guys should have AT LEAST 5 and those punishments are insane. i’m not sure how big your school is but that is surely not enough time. i hope enough people sign it

I go to Anthony and I received my first tardy ever in my time at Anthony middle school because of the three minute passing time. The passing time is too short.

even 4 minutes of passing time is insane. this should be at least 5 minutes. students aren't machines. there should be no penalty at all for tardiness within a few minutes; this is a recipe for anxiety-ridden, physically unhealthy & exhausted kids.

I had 5 minutes when I was in high school and that was barely enough time and I ended carrying my backpack heavy with books for multiple classes.

3 minutes of passing time is not enough time to get from one class to another especially in buildings with multiple levels and distance that Anthony is. Both of my children have already had mental frustrations and even potential injury due to having to rush to and from classes and over exerting themselves.

This policy is so stressful and unrealistic. How are the students supposed to transition from class to class and be ready to learn after litterally running to get to class on time. My children have to go from the basement to the 3rd floor multiple times daily. It's making them so anxious and makes the hallways even more chaotic.
Seriously MPS?
