We, the undersigned residents of GUVVALACHERUVU, are writing to formally draw your urgent attention to the severe lack of a proper drainage system in our village.
For a considerable amount of time, our locality has been facing major difficulties due to the absence of concrete drains. The current situation has led to several critical issues affecting our daily lives:
• Waterlogging: Even minor rainfall results in severe water accumulation on the main roads and inner streets, making them completely inaccessible.
• Health Hazards: Stagnant water has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes and bacteria, leading to a rise in diseases like dengue, malaria, and skin infections among the villagers, especially children and the elderly.
It is unfortunate that a major Gram Panchayat still lacks a proper drainage system. Years have passed, and leaders have changed, but this basic problem remains unresolved. It is disappointing that there has been no adequate support from the government to address this long-standing issue. The people deserve better infrastructure, proper sanitation, and a permanent solution—not just promises.
