We are calling for fairer pay for cocoa farmers, because the people who grow the crop should not be left with only a small share of the money while others take most of the profit.

Right now, cocoa farmers do the hard work that makes chocolate possible, yet they often receive only about 9% of total profits. That is not fair. Many of these farmers still live in poverty while companies earn billions from the cocoa trade. The imbalance is plain: the people who plant, tend, harvest, and process the cocoa carry the hardest burden, but they see very little return for it.

By adding our names, we are asking for a cocoa trade that treats farmers with dignity and gives them a fairer share of the value they create. We want real improvement, not just promises, so that farming families can have a more stable and decent life.
