Hershey chocolate continues to use children in the production of their products. Kids as young as 6 are working without any pay; many never will go home or see their families again. They work without shoes or masks while spraying pesticides as well as being severely injured while using machetes to cut down the cocoa plants. Many will develop life threatening illnesses as well as being physically, mentally and sexually exploited. Hershey has agreed to change this...in 6 years! That is too long for these kids and the thousands to follow. PLEASE sign this petition and be the voice for these children.

We are concerned about child labor, child trafficking and verbal, physical and sexual harassment on the farms where you source Hershey's cocoa. We believe that a 2020 timeline for 100% third-party certified cocoa production is too slow. With an estimated 1.8 million children currently forced to labor on cocoa farms in West Africa, more than 10 million children will be affected over the next six years. Please speed up the timeline for certification. Until Hershey's changes its practices, we have pledged to boycott Hershey's products.
