We are collecting community support for the Van Nuys High School Baseball Program, continued access to Don Drysdale Memorial Field, and a fair clearing of Andress Sepulveda’s name after being wrongfully terminated by the Van Nuys High School Administration.
This matters to our community because the baseball program is more than a team. It gives students a place to learn discipline, teamwork, and pride in representing their school. It also gives families, players, and supporters a place to come together at Don Drysdale Memorial Field, a field that carries deep meaning for everyone who has invested time, care, and hope in the program.
We are asking for the school to support the baseball program, protect continued access to Don Drysdale Memorial Field, and correct this injustice by clearing Andress Sepulveda’s name. When a person is treated unfairly, it affects more than one individual. It shakes trust, hurts morale, and leaves the whole community with unanswered questions. What our school needs now is fairness, accountability, and respect for the people who have helped build and support this program.
We stand with the Van Nuys High School Baseball Program, with the community that cares for Don Drysdale Memorial Field, and with the call to restore Andress Sepulveda’s good name. We ask the Van Nuys High School Administration to do what is right and help bring this issue to a just resolution.

This is important to me because coach means so much to me and he really made me feel like I was a part of the team. He is super nice and he doesn’t deserve to get fired.
Coach Sepúlveda was someone I always felt comfortable to talk to if I was going through something. I managed his baseball program last year. With his encouragement and support, I found myself in a better place academically . He was someone who genuinely listened whenever you needed someone to talk to and never failed to make you feel heard . I also know how much he cared about the baseball program he did everything he could to make the field look good and make it something to be proud of .
Andrés is a very dedicated and loyal coach. He loves the sport and loves coaching the kids. He is an asset to the school and to the program. It is hard to find coaches that care as much as he does. This is a great loss for the school and the kids. He needs to be reinstated.
Coach Sepulveda gave so much to Van Nuys Baseball and helped build a program players were proud to be part of. He created confidence, accountability, pride, and a real sense of family. I believe people should sign this petition because his impact on the players and the Van Nuys Baseball community deserves to be recognized and heard.

Coach Andres has made a meaningful and lasting contribution to our student athletes and school community. During his time as coach, he has demonstrated dedication to developing not only baseball skills, but also leadership, discipline, teamwork, accountability, sportsmanship, and character. We’re asking the school and district to reinstate Andrés as baseball coach to ensure that our student athletes have a coaching environment built on trust, consistency, fairness, mentorship, and respect.
He needs to be reinstated!!!

Andrew has done nothing but improve the conditions of a field and has dedicated many years to his players. He does not deserve to be treated this way after all he has done.
