Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is a 10,000-acre paradise dedicated to showcasing and protecting the natural beauty of the Ozarks. Johnny Morris has spent decades teaching millions of visitors to value our waters, forests, and wildlife.
To honor this legacy of conservation, we—the undersigned—respectfully encourage Johnny Morris to collaborate with world-renowned Danish recycling artist Thomas Dambo to construct a monumental, hidden wooden troll right here in Dogwood Canyon.
Thomas Dambo's massive folklore-inspired sculptures are built entirely out of scrap wood and recycled materials. His mission is to show the world that "trash" can be transformed into something beautiful and valuable. His hidden trolls encourage families to hike, explore the wilderness, and become active stewards of nature.
Dambo is currently working on his 50 States Project to place a giant troll in every single U.S. State, and Missouri still needs a host!
A custom troll at Dogwood Canyon would be a perfect match. It combines the park's majestic wilderness with a powerful message of sustainability. It would spark wonder, invite local volunteer hands to help build it, and put the Ozarks on the map for international art and nature lovers.
Johnny, let's bring a giant guardian of the forest to Dogwood Canyon! Please hire Thomas Dambo and help complete the 50-state trail right here in Missouri.

I love Thomas Dambo Trolls. I'm an avid 'hunter' having found 40 so far in 7 states. I even built a small one (Petunia) for my garden. I can think of no better home for a Missouri troll(s) than Dogwood Canton
Because it's important to my family whom I love and support
Dogwood canyon would be a perfect spot for a troll or two
Something for everyone…kids, families, ladies etc. to see, enjoy and see how “trash” can be made into something cool!
Would love to have at least one troll in Missouri. So far, I’ve only seen the four in Iowa, but definitely have others on my bucket list.

Many people I know would love to see a Dambo troll in person and the placement of one in Dogwood Canyon would be perfect! Please bring one to the Missouri Ozark Mountains, sooner rather than later!!!
