Assistance on Basement Mobile Coverage – Ki Residences

We, the undersigned residents of Ki Residences, seek your assistance regarding a mobile network coverage issue in our basement carparks. The development is built on a sloping terrain with two physically separated basements (Upper and Lower). Each block can access only one basement. Currently, mobile coverage is available only in the upper basement, leaving residents in certain blocks with no access to any basement-level connectivity.
This creates a coverage gap affecting daily convenience and raising safety concerns, including the inability to make emergency calls in enclosed areas. We understand deployment follows standard practices, but Ki Residences is a non-typical design where residents cannot access alternative basement levels.
We respectfully seek your support to engage IMDA and mobile network operators to review this case and support feasible solutions to extend coverage to the lower basement, ensuring fair and reasonable access for all residents.
We believe that this issue represents a practical gap arising from a non-standard building design and requires coordinated intervention. We sincerely hope for your assistance in advocating on behalf of residents for a fair resolution.

I'm from blk 8 of Ki Residences. The designated car park is in Basement 2 and I have no reception the moment I'm in the carpark. Same for any visitors or delivery to jy unit. This has been very inconvenient and the reception coverage should be extended to all levels including basement just like any establishments. In the event of emergency, no one in basement will be contactable. This is against any safety protocol. Hope the developer attend to this protocol.
While there is a upper basement and lower basement, not all blocks can access to both basement from the lift of the respective blocks. As such, the lower basement which is the only basement access for blocks 2, 6 and 8 should not be deemed as a second basement of the development.
As the land plot is terrain form, hence the carpark is designed to basement 1 and 2, but each block can only access to one basement with exception to block 8 and 10 as they are sitting at the slope down road. Hence, it is technically one basement carpark for the development. The authority should not evaluate based on paper definition.
Mobile coverage is critical for emergency calls within the basement. We currently have no connection to the mobile network for grab and taxis.
Please enhanced it for for all the basement level

1) B2 is the entry lobby for my block 8. When I book a taxi, I use B2 as my pickup address especially if it’s raining or when I’ve luggage. On occasions, driver was unable to reach me and vice versa when he got lost or delayed. 2) if there is a security breach in B2 we are unable to dial for emergency services 3) for medical emergencies we need Internet connectivity Internet Connectivity therefor is a must and a necessity
