We are writing to ask EWSETA to pay the outstanding stipends owed to students from Hazyview Water Skills Academy and to give a clear deadline for when those payments will be made.
Despite multiple follow-ups, the affected learners have received no meaningful feedback, no proper explanation, and no timeline for payment. This silence has left students frustrated and struggling with the financial burden that comes when support promised for training does not arrive as expected. When young people commit themselves to learning new skills, they should not be left waiting with no answers and no certainty.
EWSETA must treat this matter with the urgency it deserves. We ask for transparent communication and a confirmed payment schedule so that all outstanding stipends are paid without any further delay. The students and their families deserve clarity, respect, and action, not repeated waiting and uncertainty.
If a satisfactory response and a confirmed timeline are not provided within a reasonable period, we will have no option but to escalate this matter to the relevant authorities for further intervention.
We call on EWSETA to resolve this issue now and restore trust by communicating clearly and paying what is owed.
