Small farming/market operations like Kings should be allowed to adapt as they see fit to continue to be profitable they are the heart and soul of small business and shouldn’t have to cut through red tape to make a living.
Kings Market provides a vital service to the Edisto Island community allowing us to purchase locally farmed vegetables as well as food prepared with their produce. They also provide local employment at their farm and market.
In this day and age of poison in our food, its more important than ever to support local farms. As a local farm family ourselves, we absolutely support this!
Let's support our local farmers here in Charleston county! Please allow them this variance to they can more better be a sustainable operation and diversify their income stream. Please allow them to have farm stands that can be opened more than just a few days a week. This should only apply to farms.
I am a constituent of Meggett and I would love to support local farmers the ablity to provide our community with local produce and prepared foods regularly without having to rezone to commercial. This is needed for our sustainability. Yes please!

Absolutely support King’s Market and it’s important to the island of Edisto. When I talk to people in the upstate who come to Edisto ,it’s one of their landmarks and places that they seek to go when they come down
