The council finally voted to protect the Marysville Bench Lands and keep them as parkland. It took a long time to get here but I am relieved this land is safe for the future. We still need to keep a watchful eye on development in our area to ensure this …

The climb toward one hundred signatures is slow and heavy work. I need you to pass this link to someone else tonight so we can push through this plateau before the planning meeting.

As someone who walks here all the time and owns property directly below I belive this land should zoned for Recreation. I am not against a great business idea but just not in this location!

I live parttime in Marysville. I am not against industrial companies moving to Kimberley and area and creating local jobs. Why has the city administration previously planned an industrial park thereby alleviating this problem?Marysville Bench is not the place for this to happen. It is a recreational area.

We really need to be careful to preserve the recreational aspects of our city that are attracting so many new residents. Kimberley seems to be creating an image of eco-friendliness, clean living and forward-thinking development. Let's keep moving in this direction!

Leave land as is. Use the trails all the time and would hate to lose it. Traffic is already brutal on JOW due to speeding and volumes. Safety is a concern for pedestrians on JOW using it to connect to the trails. The safety of the students of Marysville Elementary school would also be a concern.

As a visitor from Australia to your beautiful Country..Please leave as much of the natural environment as you can...after all we pay thousands of dollars just to get there and see the natural beauty of this area.

For over 22 years I’ve been using this trail on the average of 4-5 times a week. It’s hard to imagine not being able to continue using this area for recreational and spiritual purposes. To me it’s one of the most beautiful properties in our area.

We are new to this area and this is one of the reasons we chose to live here…. Keep it as recreation.

Costs to high for city taxpayers for only one business. Other alternatives should be looked at where the infrastructure is already in place.
