Ms. Chen is an incredible teacher and to displace her would be a tragic fault of Young Women's Leadership Academy.

I’m a graduate of the 2020 class and Miss Chen Was a great teacher, although I didn’t have her I had friends who took her classes and they always talked great things about her and they have gone far in their life currently students at Texas A&M & UTSA…. not only is she a great teacher but she encourages her students to work hard in her class and achieve great things!

Mandarin is the second most spoken language in the world after English. Children in the US should be just as well versed in languages as children in other countries are.

Ms. Chen had a huge impact on her students. She was just as invested in our learning as she was with nurturing us as students. She made learning a new language fun! Even for students who weren’t in her class, she was a fun, comforting, and safe person.

Mandarin Chinese is a beautiful language and should be taught at every school! Ms. Alice Chen does an amazing job at teaching this language.
