Currently the students at Yukon Middle School do not have the freedom to choose their own seat during lunch. Students in the 6th, 7th & 8th grade are forced to sit in the order they exit the lunch line. This leaves many students eating alone without the opportunity to socialize or decompress with friends.

We are asking the school to provide a probationary period allowing the students to chose their own seat during lunch. All other lunch policies can remain the same, a small change regarding seat choice should not interrupt the other policies that are in place to maintain order.
