I have been in communication with the management at the Dunigan YMCA to discuss how their current facility hours impact our local homeschool community. The feedback I have received from many of you highlights a clear desire for more flexible access to the youth area during daytime hours. We are currently preparing a formal proposal to outline how this adjustment would benefit both the families and the facility.

The response to this proposal has been truly heartening and demonstrates a clear demand for these adjustments at the Dunigan facility. This momentum underscores how many families are eager to integrate the YMCA into their educational routines.

This would help Evansville Moms and Dads in a huge way. Not to mention that there are so many of us homeschooling families it would also increase business for the YMCA.
Please open up earlier the YAC I know we could open a whole new avenue of homeschool classes and attend excercise classes. We LOVE the Y! I will be glad to help and volunteer to make this possible.

I would love daytime daycare at either location
I have felt this same way for forever!
I was planning on getting a membership, but we home school and without the kid room open...that will be a game stopper and help me make a decision not to join!

I cancelled my membership because my then 6 yo daughter did not like having to spend time with babies when I went in the mornings. Please open up the youth room or a larger room with games and activities available for children 7 and up.
