Give Students a final vote on several school uniform options at Greenhill

Our children were in a school in England where the uniform included a blazer. It was no more expensive that what we're paying now for the Greenhill uniform. Surely no one thinks Greenhill pupils look smart? A phased introduction would suit us as a family. We could then buy the uniform when our sons need it, I'm sure this will be the case. This is a great forum for voicing our thoughts, thank you although am concerned by your motives. The petition required 1000 signatures yesterday, now it's 100. Can you state your intentions in the above summary? You must also remember that everyone who comments, provides a signature. There are over a dozen comments who are happy with the change.
Also to clarify, we completed the parental survey and our children completed the pupil survey over one month ago.
So we have all been asked. Hopefully you all did the same. I assume the school are doing what the majority request.
Finally we need to understand that sadly not everyone will be happy with any change a school decides to make.

I feel students should be able to have the finalised decision on the formality of the uniform choice and I also think colour should be reconsidered.

Although the uniform would be changed to look smrter I think that the children as a whole look fine. I am personally a big supporter of looking smart but school is really down to learning and developing. Therefore I don't believe a uniform change is needed at this time. It is both expensive and will drastically change how comfortable the students will feel.

I am coming up to greenhill in 2 years time and would like to look smart. However, in my opinion a uniform change this drastic Ian not needed.

The uniform right now is fine, but a shirt, tie and V neck jumper would be smarter. However a blazer would be expensive and probably uncomfortable in the summer, especially as you couldn't take it off.

I don't think we should change the uniform because we look fine as we are. Changing the uniform will not help families that are sturuggling for money because the uniform will be very expensive.

What happened to being given an option after the initial consultation as stipulated in the original letter? People have expressed a desire for change, but not to exactly what, maybe shirt and tie, may be v neck, maybe jacket. It depends how the rules are to be implemented, in the past a blazer has been an optional part of the uniform. What will the cost impact be? Without this information how can a choice be made.
Yes smarter, but that's not difficult compared to all the variations allowed at the moment.

We don't want new uniform. If there is a change we want shirt and jumpers not horrible sweasy blazers. LEAVE US ALONEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Over a thousand responses and 78% ask for change and a more formal approach. I respect the school giving us the option.
We have spoken and now we have change, 22% will not be happy. You will never please everyone.
We will now have a really smart uniform to be proud of, well done Greenhill !!!

Navy is much nicer plus in keeping with current colour scheme....who wants to wear a blazer all day??????? I wouldn't ☹

I’m in year 6 and I don’t want to come up to greenhill in a suit and tie!! If the uniform was uncomfortable it would distrust my learning
