The people of Marple and surrounding areas who would like to say YES to a supermarket on hibbert lane now have an online petition to do so. If you think that marple would benefit from a new supermarket giving people a choice of where they would like to shop (just like we get a choice of many hairdressers, pubs and cafes etc), help create more jobs, help people on all incomes save money each week by not having to shop at the over prices co-op as some people cannot drive or cannot get out much, it would also be nice for the people who shop at a major supermarket to have one close to home.
