We the undersigned support Robinson's proposals for the development of the Brewery site on Tank Square. We believe that the people of Ulverston need a decent sized, affordable supermarket for convenience goods. We believe that the proposed supermarket will benefit Ulverston town centre with an increase in footfall and a reduction in locals money being spent in Barrow. We are not lazy - we do not support this because we do not want to travel to Barrow. We support the proposal because we want to shop in OUR town. We want to spend our money supporting local traders and we believe that an in town supermarket will encourage shoppers to do just that.
