As a concerned resident of the Mill Village in Historic Roswell, please join me in raising your voice that we are no longer going to allow this burned-out dwelling at 52 Sloan St. stand for another year and continue to be a terrible eye sore, nuisance, danger to our children (elementary school bus stop right across the street), and negatively impact our property values and neighborhood businesses.

The City of Roswell Historic Preservation Committee (HPC) has a condition on this property that will not allow the current owner to demolish this property without approval of plans by the HPC. This in effect has held our neighborhood hostage to this situation over this time period and with delay after delay there is no foreseeable resolution in sight between HPC and the owner.

Please join me in signing this petition to demand an amendment to the HPC conditions on this property and require the owner of this badly burned dwelling to have it demolished within 30-days from the next meeting and that the grounds be properly maintained to City code until the HPC and the owner can come together in a mutual agreement on a future home design that fits within the context of our beautiful neigbhorhood.
